Vanderpoel Studies

Finally got around to photographing my flying Vanderpoel Studies. (Note to self, learn how to take better photos of white paper.) Normally this is a good thing to do on a long journey to while away a few hours but unfortunately on the return journey I was sat next to a gentleman the size of Mount Olympus who needed my elbow room as well as his own so my work was cut short. The womans head is from an advert in the in-flight magazine, I'm thinking that the benefit of doing master studies will be greater if I immediately follow them with something of my own.

All graphite in my 'funky sketch book' from an earlier post.
